Who We Are
Welcome to Resource Bank
Resource originated in 1998 following aggressive consolidation in the Banking industry to provide a smaller community-type environment for both clients and employees. Our philosophy focuses on providing high quality service, knowledgeable personnel and active community participation. High quality service means greeting clients entering our facilities, eliminating waiting times and empowering employees to make decisions. Resource provides knowledgeable personnel with the experience and training to assist clients on the variety of both business and personal financial fundamentals. Resource employees process and monitor the movement of all automated transactions from a transferred deposit account and respond with timely decisions on loans. Active community participation means going beyond monetary support of the many local charities and good causes. We are more than just volunteers; our employees hold positions of significance within these organizations.
Resource Bank has enjoyed a high level of performance resulting in consistent growth in assets, loans, and deposits while returning good profitability with a low level of problem assets. We are always looking to expand our footprint; we have locations now in St. Tammany, Washington, Jefferson, Orleans and East Baton Rouge Parishes. The bank's free ATM network extensively covers our service area as well as provides free ATM usage across the country. We continue to be leaders in the fast pace of technology by exploring and implementing products and services that will be of value to our clients.
Resource Bank's Vision is: to enable our clients to realize their financial objectives, to be the employer of choice, and to create value for our shareholders. We have nearly 22,000 valued clients and strengthen the local employment base with more than 160 positions. Resource is community owned by more than 450 shareholders with no shareholder owning more than 10 percent. We work hard for our clients and continue to add good value to our shareholders. Resource Bank makes every effort to be the finest true community bank and to ensure all enjoy the Resource Bank experience.

Community Reinvestment
Resource invests in the communities we serve in an incomparable way. You will see us at numerous community, cultural, school, and charitable events. Our team goes beyond monetary support; many of our employees hold positions of significance within non-profit organizations.
Employer of Choice
Our employees are our most valuable asset. We have a high retention rate and strive to create an inviting workplace. Resource prioritizes promoting from within and offering opportunities for job-related continuing education.
Locally Owned
Resource Bank is headquartered in Covington, Louisiana, and has always been community-owned. We take pride in creating value for over 450 local shareholders. A unique feature of our business model is that no one person owns majority share.
Organic Growth
Established in July of 1998, we continually have a high performance level resulting in consistent growth in assets, loans, and deposits. Resource historically has opened a new location every two years on average; we are now in five parishes. Unlike many other banks, our growth has come without merger or acquisition.
